SES AND ICTQATAR TO EXPLORE JOINT SATELLITE PROJECTS.

LUXEMBOURG--(BUSINESS WIRE) - Jun. 09, 2011-- In the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, to Luxembourg today, SES S.A. (Paris:SESG)(LuxX:SESG) and the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology, ictQATAR, are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the potential provision of joint satellite platforms, networks and/or services.

Within the framework of the MOU, ictQATAR and SES will explore co-operation opportunities for the provision of satellite platforms, networks and services in the Middle East and beyond, including the provision of SES satellite capacity for the joint development of space assets and orbital positions as well as the associated ground segment.

The cooperation between ictQATAR and SES is supported by both the Qatari government and the Luxembourg government and was signed in the presence of Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani and the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Mr Jean-Claude Juncker.
